Range 12 gauge ammunition for the shotgun shooter that can be used for skeet, clays or targets and the occasional small game or birds, where appropriate. Winchester Super Target is an American made shotgun load that makes it easy to get your sport shotgunning in, without breaking the bank.

the shot size is #7 ½ with a 1 1/8 ounce load in a standard 2 ¾” shell, made with Winchester components and Winchester quality. It is certainly suitable for hunting, within reason. It is a low base, medium recoil load that is mostly built for flying clays, but you could use it in the field in a pinch if you wanted to for small birds (lead shot – not suitable for waterfowl generally) and for ground small game like rabbits, squirrels, etc.

The shot size gives you a good chance to hit what you’re aiming at out to probably 25-75 yards, with a realistic sweet spot of about 50 to 150 feet for a moderate spread. This makes it great for clays and paper shooting.

The powder is not the cleanest, and the rounds, while reloadable are not necessarily well suited to multiple reloads, but the pricing is incredible for a day at the outdoor range. A nice Multipack discount is available so buying in bulk makes sense.
