The shot load consists of 40 per cent Flitestopper and 60 percent Premium steel pellets, optimizing spread and lethality. Also, with Federal’s Catalyst technology, the primers and propellants in Black Cloud shells burn cleaner, with less corrosion, and leave less residue after ignition. These shells also have increased moisture resistance for the avid duck and goose hunter. Providing a muzzle velocity of 1500 feet per second, these added features cause no loss in power—but instead give us a very fast, powerful, and lethal shot.
