A venerable duck load for those who want to take the most birds they can get and have an easy day of action on the marshland. The steel-based Magnum sized load offers premium features for higher quality duck and waterfowl. This is a 3 inch Magnum shell with a 1 1/8 ounce payload. The #2 shot allows you to shoot geese and other larger, tougher waterfowl with it, but still accommodates ducks as well. The muzzle velocity is something special too: the 1550 velocity gets you out much further than standard loads in lead or in steel.

The #2 shot is big enough to counter some of the deflection concerns by having a light pattern and a light projectile.
