Details
Fiocchi has constructed these versatile 12 gauge shells for use on upland bird hunting grounds as well as at sporting trap clubs. This shotgun cartridge is assembled using a high-brass head, clean-igniting 209 primer, and moisture-resistant hull with a raised roll above its crimp for speedy insertion into chambers and magazine tubes. The round contains 1-1/4 ounces of #7-1/2 shot which is a common compromise for skeet shooters that want to cover clays at all engagement distances.
#7-1/2 pellets are also great for taking doves, chukkar, and grouse at medium range as they offer great penetration past layers of feather and flesh without causing excessive damage to game meat. Fiocchi is an Italian ammunition company with reputable experience dating all the way back to 1876. Their location in Lecco keeps their ears close to some of the most prominent shotgun makers in the world such as Beretta and Benelli. This insight combined with a close relationship with professional shooters allows them to tailor their loads to current sporting and hunting trends without exorbitant prices.
