Winchester’s SUPER-X cartridge has been a staple in the marketplace for many years now. Winchester first brought their Super-X 12 gauge ammunition to the forefront of the cartridge world in 1922, and it has been available ever since.
Super-X ammo is very well known for relatively cheap pricing, high quality, tight manufacturing tolerances, reliability, and variety. The Super-X line up consists of rifle and carbine ammo in multiple calibers, pistol and revolver ammo in many of the most popular calibers, and shotgun ammo in many gauges, designed just for hunting special game.
These Super-X 12-gauge shells come in 2-3/4" Overall length (Shotshell measurement is always done AFTER firing the shell, not beforehand), with a 1-ounce load of #6 Shot (#6 shot size is roughly 0.110" in diameter), with "star crimped", reloadable bright red hulls, and low brass ends at the rear of the shell. These shells are loaded up with Lead Free Steel Shot inside, so they can be used at ranges that don't allow lead bullets due to environmental concerns. They have a muzzle velocity of 1325 feet per second and are suitable for hunting various airborne and land dwelling game animals. The #6 shot is capable of hunting rabbits, squirrel, partridge, grouse, turkey, chukker, and can absolutely be used for clay targets. These come in 25 round boxes, and there are 10 boxes per 250 round case. Get yourself a couple cases today to ensure that you will be ready for all your shotgun and 3 gun needs this year.
