Details
Federal’s Power-Shok line of ammunition offers top performance to hunters who’d like to take game without taking a bath paying for shells as the result. This 12 Gauge shell contains a 1 ¼ ounce rifled hollow point slug that’s specially designed for use in a smoothbore shotgun. It will expand upon impact to cause devastating damage to a deer’s shoulder blade, but it won’t travel as far as a rifle’s bullet so it’s safer to use near populated areas. Its rifling isn’t meant to gyroscopically stabilize its flight, but rather to reduce the friction it creates on the bore. This slug is comfortable to fire as well, owing to its one-piece cushioned wad that will absorb a good deal of its felt recoil.
Federal has used innovative technology and a deep-seated commitment to quality in all of the thousands of ammunition types they’ve produced over the better part of a century. This slug is just one more shining example of their excellence.
