Details
Fiocchi’s Golden Pheasant line of shotshells leaves little ambiguity to what it’s best suited for. This 12 Gauge shell is loaded with 1 ⅜ ounces of #6 shot. The approximately 234 .12” diameter pellets are all nickel plated, which considerably hardens them, meaning they will resist deformation in the barrel in order to provide tight, consistent patterns that will penetrate a pheasant’s plumage and as well as and the scrubby vegetation they like to hide behind with ease. You can reliably take a rabbit, squirrel, grouse, or even a turkey with this shot as well.
Fiocchi has been family owned and operated in Lecco, Italy for over 140 years. They source all of their gun powders from America, and indeed even manufacture their shells in Missouri as well. They carefully manufacture all of their ammunition’s hulls, primers, shot, and wads from raw materials, and their attention to detail really shines while you’re taking bird after bird.
