Details
This High Velocity 12 Gauge shotshell by Fiocchi certainly lives up to its name -- with a muzzle velocity of 1,330 fps, you won’t have to lead quite as much while you’re aiming for a bird or a clay, and the added power provided ought to be more than adequate to take down either.
This shell is loaded with a generous 1 ¼ ounces of #6 lead shot. Those .11” diameter pellets are perfect for hunting larger quail and partridge, pheasant in average hunting conditions, dove over longer ranges, and turkey if they’re nearby enough. #6 shot is great for casual target shooting as well, and more than enough to bust a clay with a well-placed shot.
Fiocchi is one of Italy’s oldest ammunition manufacturers, and as such their primers, hulls, wads, and propellants have all been perfected over the course of well over 100 years. They make their components from raw materials, so they have amazing control over their tolerances.
