Federal presents their Gold Medal line of shotgun ammunition to provide competition-grade performance at the range. This 12 Gauge shotshell offers hardened and uniformly round shot, a reliable 209A primer, even spreading wad, and sturdy reloadable hull along with a low recoiling muzzle velocity of 1,145 fps for some of the best clay busting that you will ever experience.
This shell is loaded with 1 ⅛ ounces of #8 lead shot. That shot size isn’t favored too heavily for hunting, save for some small birds and the occasional squirrel. Regardless, this shell isn’t for hunting! Its shot’s spacing, size, and effective range make it remarkably effective at shattering even the fastest flying clays. With approximately 460 of these .09” diameter pellets dispelled with every trigger pull, you’ll be a force to be reckoned with when it comes to trap, skeet, and sporting clays.
