Details
For the discerning waterfowl hunter that prefers the 20 gauge for sporting or recoil reasons. The customary yellow hulls are a clear indicator of the 20 gauge shells, which is helpful because of the 3” shell. Winchester Drylock Supersteel ammo is a great choice for the hunter who wants repeatability in their duck and goose rounds.
The high base, 3” shells offer a nice payload and a muted recoil compared to a magnum 12 gauge and also provides enough steel shot on target to compensate for the lighter weight that steel is encumbered by. It’s a regulation approved waterfowl load that give you the option to use it where you might be taking multiple bird types or for when you want human, sure kills on your bird of choice. The 1330 velocity gets the steel load out there, and the #2 shot ensures heavy hitting power, while the 3” load makes sure there is enough of a pellet density delivered on target to get the job done properly.
Winchester’s reputation for producing some of the best shotshells in the world is largely based on their hunting lines, and this is no exception, it is a performance round that has all the bases covered for the discerning hunter of geese, duck and other birds. The steel shot is a responsible choice and meets most state requirements.
