Details

Rio's 20 gauge #1 buck offering serves up a great priced option for self-defense. Featuring 9-#1 buck pellets, this ammo exits the muzzle at approximately 1,345 feet per second delivering a hard hitting, consistent pattern with a much lighter recoil than the typical 12 gauge felt recoil. These shells' packaging may refer to their shot as "three-by-three," but that is just an unusual name for #1 buck in a 20 Gauge.

This bulk case includes 250 rounds of 20 gauge shells with 10 boxes including 25 rounds each. This is one of our top selling self-defense loads in 20 gauge due to the combination of high quality at a great price point made available from Rio.

A: The standard shot size for 00 Buckshot and #1 Buck are similar, though the diameters are slightly different. Generally speaking these may be interchangeable for their intended application. The diameter of the shot pellets are as follows: 00Buckshot = 8.83mm #1 Buck = 7.62mm

A: This 00 Buck shotgun ammunition from Rio will not have any issues with this barrel length. Rio loads these shotshells with premium and non corrosive shotgun ammunition components.

A: That depends. Do you want to eat the raccoon afterwards? If so, you might want to use a single projectile (smaller than a 12ga slug, that is) on such a small animal. If you are just looking to eliminate pests, 00 Buck will do the job quite well.
