Details

An all around workhorse cartridge for the .22LR, the Federal Game Shok round is a high velocity copper plated hollow point projectile in a brass casing, built for overall reliability, accuracy and functionality.

The cartridge is loaded to provide enough power to cycle all semi-automatic firearms but works equally well in revolvers, handguns, single shot and bolt action rifles. The copper plated projectile offers 141 ft. lbs. of energy and 1430 fps velocity out of the muzzle which is enough for any small game up to and including small coyotes. Generally accepted as a small varmint and nuisance animal load, this round is also perfect for plinking, teaching new shooters or for target practice.

The snappy round is usable in all modern firearms marked “.22LR” “22 Long Rifle” or “.22”. There is no noticeable increase in recoil compared to other .22LR loads.

This is packaged in a box of 50 rounds with a plastic insert.

Federal is a well-respected manufacturer of ammunition and this round offers excellent reliability and functionality as far as .22LR Rimfire cartridges go. The copper plating reduces friction to help reliably load the round into the chamber and reduce fouling; allowing for longer days at the range. The high velocity gives adequate power for ultra-small game hinting and mechanical functioning of firearms.
