Details

This 22 LR cartridge from ELEY’s Match line of ammunition sports a 40 grain lead flat nose projectile. Its shape makes this bullet ideal for competition, as it punches clean holes through paper targets which leave no ambiguity in the scoring process. (Not quite as clean a hole as a wadcutter would punch, but those feed terribly in semi-automatic weapons anyway.)

ELEY’s Match ammunition additionally features a cut mouth case for enhanced ballistic characteristics. It is produced on its own dedicated line complete with a suite of analytical processes to ensure each and every cartridge possesses match-winning performance.

ELEY is the 22 LR specialist -- along with air pellets, it is the only type of ammunition that they make. The British company has been in the ammunition game since 1828, and their products are widely favored among Olympic level athletes. For competition, training, or even just surgically precise plinking, it’s hard to go wrong with an ELEY.
