Remington, the “mother cartridge” of 5.56 NATO. Fortunately, thanks to the cartridge’s
continued popularity in Europe, Prvi Partizan has kept manufacturing the “triple
deuce” and making it available worldwide. This particular load, designed for
hunting small and medium sized game, uses a 50-grain soft point bullet and
boasts a muzzle velocity of 3,133 feet per second, almost as much as M193 ball.
Note that 5.56 NATO and .223 Remington are not interchangeable with this .222
