Details
This 223 Rem cartridge by Fiocchi features a 45 grain SinterFire non-toxic frangible projectile. Rather than lead, this wide taper point bullet’s core is made of compressed metal powder, making it ideal for shooting metal targets as well as indoor training where it is designed to crumble on impact to reduce the possibility of a ricochet. This bullet may also be considered for home defense, as its tendency to disintegrate on impact leaves it all but unable to pass through walls. This bullet’s lead-free design also makes it ideal for use in areas where toxic ammunition is banned.
SinterFire is the industry leader in producing this round’s special bullet, which coupled with Fiocchi’s long-standing reputation for creating quality ammunition makes this round an excellent choice for your rifle. This round additionally features a brass casing -- just the thing for handloading, and you may even reload with more SinterFire bullets once you’ve become an admirer of their unique performance.
