This .223 Brown Bear ammo features a berdan-primed, lacquered steel case and is loaded with 55 grain bi-metal hollow point projectile. These components were selected to cut costs without sacrificing quality. This light 55 grain hollow point bullet is zippy and leaves the muzzle at approximately 2923 feet per second. The steel case and bi-metal projectile make this an affordable round for practicing at the range while the hollow point bullet projectile means that you could even use this round for hunting small to medium sized game.

Brown Bear ammunition is manufactured at the Barnaul Cartridge Plant in Barnual, Russia.
