Details

PMC (Precision Made Cartridges) is manufactured in South Korea by the Poongsan Corporation and began their company around 1968. After the division of Korea in 1945, South Korea wanting to become more self-reliant, began producing cartridges ranging from small arms to howitzer rounds for the South Korean military.

The PMC company has complete quality control over their rifle and center fire pistol ammunition by making all its components themselves. Their quality control is overseen by the ISO Bureau Veritas quality certification standards. All PMC sporting rounds are created to spec for either SAAMI or US Military specification standards.

Being able to manufacture all their sporting ammo in-house means that they are able to have total control of the product quality and that they are not dependent on outside component manufacturers should there be a shortage on supplies. PMC also manufactures their own brass rolls that are used to create the casings.

All PMC ammo is reloadable! However, rifle ammunition with crimped military primers will need to be removed before new primers can be inserted. Major reloading companies have tools for this. These PMC Bronze .223 55gr soft point hunting rounds are non-corrosive and loaded with new brass cases and boxer primers. Muzzle velocity is a whopping 3200 fps with a muzzle energy of 1250 ft/lbs.
