These Berdan-primed, non-corrosive, steel-cased rounds are equipped with a 62-grain full metal jacket, bi-metal lead core bullet and are capable of muzzle velocities of 3,025 fps. The steel case is also coated in polymer that allows for better feeding and extraction and makes Tula steel cased ammunition excellent for stockpiling.

Tula Cartridge Works is a high producing Russian manufacturer of quality ammunitions. Originally a producer of brass ammunition, they made the switch to steel in the late 1920s to conserve precious metals. Since then, Tula has become a world leader in steel cased ammo manufacturing, providing quality and economy in the same package.

A: Hello Loki, This Tula ammunition is loaded with a lead core, bi-metal jacketed projectile. The bi-metal jacket is created by layering copper and steel, then pressing it together. As a result, the projectile does contain steel and will not pass a magnet test.
