Details
Speer Gold Dot self-defense ammunition uses their UNI-COR method to electrochemically bond the jacket and the core at the beginning of the manufacturing process. This ensures there won’t be any core and jacket separation, essentially eliminating the most prevalent cause of bullet failure. This bonding method also allows for maximum weight retention for barrier penetration and energy transfer into the target.
These .223 Speer Gold Dot duty rounds come equipped with a 64-grain soft point projectile. The soft point is created to mushroom and expand on impact, preventing over penetration as this round has a muzzle velocity of 3000 FPS. Each round uses CCI boxer-primers, clean burning powders and nickel plated, reloadable brass cases and are made by a trusted brand for law enforcement and civil defense as an excellent self-defense round.
This 500-round case of Speer .223 64-grain soft point ammunition comes with twenty-five, 20 round boxes.
