The .270 Winchester caliber and Remington Core-Lokt projectile design are two concepts that have grown up together for over 70 years and have never failed to feed families and provide target-focused entertainment. This particular load utilizes a 100-grain bullet which is relatively light for the caliber and provides flat-shooting performance for a laser-like trajectory out to medium distances. The bullet consists of a classic lead core captured within a copper jacket with only its pointed nose left uncovered. The Spitzer shape reduces drag in flight for greater stability while the exposed lead tip guarantees wide expansion during entry into a whitetail deer or wild boar.

True to the Core-Lokt name, the bullet's banded belt or cannelure prevents jacket separation, ensuring that the expanding bullet will remain in one piece as it creates a free-bleeding wound cavity and dumps game-stopping momentum into the heart and lungs. This performance is intended to bring an animal down quickly for a humane kill that won't let adrenaline ruin the taste of the meat. Remington loads each bullet into a reloadable brass casing which houses clean-burning powder and a non-caustic Boxer primer: the perfect combination of components to preserve new rifles and family heirlooms alike. Buying in bulk with this 200-round case allows for ample practice and the occasional bottle shoot as well as season after season of consistent hunting supply.
