Details
This 270 Win cartridge by Prvi Partizan has a 130 grain soft point projectile. Used first and foremost for hunting, the soft lead exposed in this bullet’s nose deforms upon impact to provide slower expansion along with deeper penetration than that which would be provided by a comparable hollow point bullet. When fired from close and medium ranges, this bullet’s devastating effects are a fine bet should you want to take down bucks with certainty -- few hunters would turn their noses up at that prospect.
A couple more benefits to a soft point bullet to note. First, they’re permissible for use in areas where hollow points are not. It’s a clever little loophole, in a way. Second, these rounds will work very well in a lever action rifle such as the Winchester 1895 or the Browning BLR.
Based in Serbia, Prvi Partizan has produced high quality ammunition since their establishment in 1928. They supply ammunition to their country’s military and police, as well as to the consumer market spread across the world.
