Details

This Pakistani military surplus 30-06 Spring cartridge by Pakistan Ordnance Factories (POF) is designated as Mark 4Z -- that means its bullet possesses a flat base, a lead/antimony core, a single cannelure, and that it has a gilding metal clad steel envelope. Its 150 grain projectile’s full metal jacket means it will feed readily, penetrate easily, and keep your rifle’s bore unfouled by the accumulation of accuracy harming lead residue during protracted shooting sessions. The Mark 4Z designation also means this cartridge has a Berdan primer, so although its brass casing may be fit for reloading, actually doing so may be more trouble than you measure it to be worth.

POF is owned by Pakistan’s government and headquartered in Wah Cantonment, Punjab. The enterprise owns 14 factories altogether in which they produce ammunition for Pakistan’s military in addition to cartridges that meet NATO specifications for sale worldwide.

A: Hello! This ammunition was manufactured in the late 1960s. It is loaded in berdan primed, brass cases. We are insured by the import company that the ammunition is non-corrosive, but we do recommend anyone using it to clean their rifles after to be completely sure.
