Details
This 30-06 Spring cartridge is surplus from the Pakistani military. It was produced in the 1960s, possibly leading up to or during the unpleasantness that was the Indo-Pakistani War of 1965, but it has been safely preserved since then and is perfectly fit for the commercial market. You will enjoy firing this round from an M1 Garand, or in any other rifle which you favor for target practice.
As a Mark 4Z cartridge, this round’s 150 grain projectile sports a full metal jacket. That means it will preserve your rifle’s bore against the rapid accumulation of lead residue so you may enjoy more accurate shots in between cleanings. This cartridge sports a corrosion resistant brass casing, although its Berdan primer may be enough to discourage you from reloading it. Please also note that although these cartridges are military surplus, they do not come on on stripper clips -- you’ll be loading your rifle exactly the way Pakistani soldiers did over half a century years ago.
