Details
This rugged, Russian-made 30-06 Springfield ammo by Golden Bear is medium quality hunting ammo powerful enough to take down both boar and deer. This ammo is ideal for hunters learning the ins and outs of the sport, and who are looking for an inexpensive, non-reloadable round they can practice with.
Each cartridge features a 168gr soft point (SP) projectile that will burrow deep within a target while tearing wide wound tunnels in soft tissue. This 30-06 Springfield ammo is Berdan-primed and encased in brass-plated steel. One step up from cheap steel casings, the brass coating on these cartridges makes them extra-resistant to corrosion, so you can keep large amounts on hand. The casings are not reloadable, and as a result, this 30-06 ammo is cheaper than standard brass cased ammo.
Golden Bear ammo is manufactured in Barnaul, Russia. Their steel-cased ammo has grown in popularity among American sportsmen in recent years due to its affordability and availability. Order a few 20-round boxes today!

Q: I noticed a small bevel tooled into the lower portion of the casing. It's uniform and in the photos so I'm certain its done purposefully. However I've not seen that done before; do you know why?

A: That additional groove is most likely for linking rounds together for belt-fed automatic weapons such as the Browning M1917 & M1919 series machine guns.
