Details

This 300 Win Mag cartridge from Federal’s Power-Shok line of ammunition sports a 150 grain Speer Hot-Cor soft point projectile. The Hot-Cor bullet is created by pouring molten lead in through the opening at its jacket’s tip. Because its core is perfectly formed within its jacket, this bullet is able to provide remarkably flat trajectories and high accuracy. Its exposed soft point means that this bullet will expand to significantly greater than its original diameter upon impact, giving you the terminal performance you need to reliably drop medium and large game.

Speer has specialized in manufacturing hunting rifle bullets ever since they were founded in 1943. Today they are perhaps better known for their specialized law enforcement ammunition, but they have never wavered from their mission to provide hunters with ideal shooting solutions. Their bullet perfectly compliments Federal’s precision-made brass casing, sensitive rifle primer, and even burning propellant.

A: Unfortunately 300 Blackout will not be able to be fired in place of the 300 Winchester Magnum round. The 300 Win Mag cartridge is one of a few rounds based on the 308 caliber bullet. Due to chamber size and specifications, only 300 Win mag ammo will safely fire in a 300 Win Mag rifle.
