20 Rounds of .300 Win Mag Ammo by Sellier & Bellot - 180gr XRG

The .300 Win Mag is a versatile cartridge, and this is Sellier & Bellot’s hunting monolithic projectile loaded into the cartridge towards the high end of the weight spectrum. The resulting load is quite a stopping force in the field against the largest North American animals. The bullet is called the XRG (Exergy) projectile which uses a Copper Nickel alloy tipped with a blunt aluminum cap that drives the projectile into a hard hitting uniformly expanding monolithic hard ballet. S&B admits, this makes it a bit too hard for short range hunts where there could be heightened risk of ricochet, but that it is above and beyond standard lead for longer distances where massive bones and big animals need adequate stopping power in the form of a stable bullet with good performance.

This is the round to do it though, with the top tier ballistics and the quality build of the cartridge in total, which Sellier & Bellot is known for. They load with the top tier components, and while you do pay a slight price premium, they are still reasonably priced for such a well-known, proven brand.
