460 Rounds of 7.62x51mm Ammo in Ammo Can by PMC - 146gr FMJ

These surplus loads from PMC have resurfaced from the 80s to serve 7.62x51mm fans who love a good deal on target ammo. PMC is South Korea's primary ammunition manufacturer which handles rounds for export sales as well as for distribution and sale to the South Korean military and that of its allies. Each 460-round bulk pack has been preserved with a steel, military-style ammo can which features a rubber gasket around the inside of its lid; this protects the boxes of ammo inside from moisture, humidity, and errant rodents. The can's lid is removable, replaceable, and features a folding carry handle for easy transport. A secure latch keeps the contents from spilling and makes the can useful for many storage roles. Inside the can are twenty-three 20-round boxes of M80 style ammo.

Each cartridge was built using a reloadable brass casing fitted with a non-corrosive Boxer primer that won't leave behind bore-ruining residue. The primer is surrounded with a water-resistant sealant which has helped to maintain dependability throughout decades of storage. Annealing at the brass casing's neck and shoulder ensures consistent chamber pressures as well as long reloading life. The rim of the case tightly hugs its full metal jacket project at a toothed surface which prevents setback that could potentially spoil accuracy or even case misfires. A 146-grain full metal jacket bullet sits atop the cartridge and closely matches popular 7.62mm NATO and .308 Winchester loads in terms of recoil and flight trajectory.
