Hunters who are fond of the Winchester Model 70 and Remington 700 will love this ammunition for affordable deer and hog hunting. Fiocchi's PerFecta line uses a lot of their established components from proven loads to provide shooters with dependable cartridges. Their company has been around since 1876 and is trusted by numerous hunters, competitors, and law enforcement professionals. The ammo is made at Fiocchi's home facility in Italy before being shipped into the United States. Unlike other budget import loads, these .308 Winchester rounds feature reloadable brass casings that are annealed at the neck and shoulder for flexibility and proper chamber formation.
Each case is equipped with a clean-igniting Boxer primer and topped off with a 150-grain soft point bullet. This is a common weight for the .308 caliber and will align well with most practice loads as well as some military surplus 7.62x51mm NATO options. The soft point projectile is designed to flatten out and expand during entry into a target which helps it to carve out a large, free-bleeding wound cavity. At the same time, the tumbling bullet will deliver massive kinetic energy to vital organs in order to down a deer or feral boar with little suffering.
