MEN's 147-grain 7.62x51mm ball travels out of the barrel at 2,746 feet per second and produces 2,462 foot-pounds of energy at the muzzle. The lead-cored FMJ projectiles are jacketed with steel. Reloads will want to know, their berdan-primed brass is not readily reusable.
