These .327 Federal Magnum cartridges from Federal will
perform well in S&W Model 632 and Ruger revolvers chambered for it. This
load fires a light 85 grain soft point bullet at 1,500 feet per second,
delivering strong penetration, good power, and reduced recoil compared to its
larger cousin, the .357 Magnum. Each cartridge in this box of 50 uses
Boxer-primed brass cases.
Federal Premium Ammunition collaborated with Sturm Ruger in the development of the .327 Federal Magnum cartridge, which gives compact revolvers a six-shot alternative to the usual five rounds of .357 Magnum. This development is one of Federal’s many innovations, which include HST and Hydra-Shok hollow points, Fusion bonded hunting ammo, and Power-shok shotshells and slugs. The company bases its headquarters and primary production plant in Anoka, Minnesota.
