The 1000 round case lot of premium 357 Sig law enforcement ammunition from the Federal facilities, is a fantastic deal and offers unmatched performance for the .357 Sig owner. The price is slightly more expensive than most range rounds but represents the pinnacle of performance for the .357 Sig which is already a hot, capable load. The 125 grain jacketed hollow point is a performer in ballistic gelatin tests, with adequate penetration in the FBI duty/personal defense protocol test. That in and of itself (to be called “adequate” in the test) is something of a misnomer: it actually represents the absolute most effective rounds in the world, and many high-grade loads never meet the standard. The ability to penetrate deep enough to ensure deep tissue damage, ensure a second (exit) hole to promote more blood loss and yet, to protect against penetrating/hurting a second target means that a round must be loaded in a very capable way.

The .357 Sig load is already potent and this one offers 1350 feet per second velocity and 506 ft. lbs. of energy out of the muzzle. These static ballistic numbers outperform any 9mm and 40S&W generally; while actually approaching top tier loads in the 10mm Range. That is incredibly impressive.
