1000 Rounds of .38 Spl Ammo by CCI - 158gr LRN

The Blazer Aluminum line is known as a workhorse range ammunition by law enforcement professionals and shooters everywhere. This round is a good example of that. It’s not a fancy round, but it gets the job done. It’s not the cleanest firing stuff (this .38 Special tends to be a bit cloudier than most of the Blazer lineup), but it’s generally very reliable. It’s not the prettiest ammunition, but it fires accurately. It’s not reloadable, but it offers a price point that cannot be beat. CCI/Blazer is a deliberate ammunition that knows what it is and knows what it isn’t and isn’t trying to be something it is not.

Shooters can appreciate the quality components, great price and consistency of functionality. The rounds just do well with really any gun. This load in particular is a 158 grain lead round nose ammo with an aluminum case that is not reloadable and has a Berdan Primer. The price is such that the non-reloadable status really doesn’t matter much. Of all the rounds to reload, perhaps .38 special wasn’t one of the hottest to try either. Reliable primers and very consistent build quality makes this a good shooting round on the range.
