This ammo is an evolution of the Golden Saber line with the notable addition of a MechaniLokt band to the projectile. This locking band holds the core and jacket together as the bullet strikes an assailant, ensuring consistent, effective expansion.
Each round in this box fires a 180 grain brass-jacketed hollow point bullet. The hard jacket and relatively high weight of the bullet facilitate strong penetration, while the spiral cut of the petals encourages high-diameter mushrooming and consistent energy transfer.
Remington is one of the oldest names in the US ammunition industry. Golden Saber Black Belt ammo is loaded in Lonoke, Arkansas using non-corrosive Boxer primers. The brass cases are nickel-plated for added durability over extended periods of daily carry.
