Prvi Partizan is a Serbian ammunition manufacturer with three factories in and around the city of Uzice. The company was founded in 1927 in a military facility and initially focused its business on the production of military and hunting ammo and rifles. During World War II, the Yugoslav resistance kept the company’s surviving equipment out of German hands and used it to produce ammunition for “partisan” fighters. The company emerged from a period of government control in the 1990s and currently operates as a private entity exporting all around the world.
