A true 1 cartridge purchase for the .40 S&W, this load is genuinely able to bridge the gap between hardcore self defense round and everyday range ammunition, without sacrificing on either end of the spectrum.

The price point is ridiculously low – it doesn’t need promotional pricing to make sense as a general purpose shooter quality ammunition. But the self-defense capabilities of this Winchester 180 grain jacketed hollow point projectile with tis powder mix are pretty impressive. They move out of the barrel at 985 feet per second and offer 388 foot opunds of energy which is more than adequate given the alternatives in 40 Smith & Wesson across the spectrum of producers for the round.

Having a single round to purchase for an entire caliber makes things a lot easier, especially when you can find such a good mix of value, stopping power and versatility. This round is suitable for use in any .40 S&W firearm, and is good for range purposes, tactical training, target and general purpose use, and for self defense.

Packaged 50 rounds per box 10 boxes per case. 500 rounds.

A: There are two types of Winchester Ranger .40 S&W 180gr JHP. One is the "bonded" hollow point, which is for all intents and purposes identical to this white box (contract overrun) ammunition. The other is the "T" series hollow point, a development of the "Black Talon" bullet which gained notoriety in decades past.
