Details

This 1000-round bulk case of .45 Auto ammo will arm you with plenty of training and range stock at a much more affordable price than comparable loads; the decreased cost is due to the use of aluminum casings in place of brass ones which are great for shooters that don't reload and only dump their casings into the range bucket at the end of the day. Each case is equipped with a non-caustic Boxer primer which won't deposit any metal-eating substances in the small crevices of your handgun. The case is filled with clean-burning grain propellant and capped off with a 230-grain FMJ projectile which matches the profile of the most popular ammunition in the .45 ACP caliber.

FMJ or Full Metal Jacket bullets are sleekly rounded for smooth feeding, especially in older 1911s with narrow, steep feed ramps. Their non-expanding "ball" format makes these rounds an excellent choice for target practice, IDPA or USPSA matches, and testing new pistols during the break-in period. To add to their utility, 230-grain practice loads match a wide assortment of duty and defense loads, allowing shooters to get the most effective training out of their drills and range time. Federal Premium has been around since 1922 and is one of the biggest names in the shooting industry. Their Champion line of ammo is intended to make shooting a more accessible activity.
