A Glocks behest, Ernest Durham took the parameters that Glock requested, and came up with a new handgun cartridge. Since its inception, the .45 GAP has found itself in a couple of different handguns from Glock, Springfield, and Bond Arms. The 45 GAP has also been adopted by a couple of different Law Enforcement agencies in North and South Carolina, New York, Kansas, Florida, and Missouri.
