Volume shooters will appreciate the value in this 450-round case of 5.56 NATO ammo. Each case holds 5 boxes of 90 rounds each, and all of the cartridges are loaded onto 10-round reusable stripper clips for easy mag loading. Your trigger finger and your thumb will thank you.

Federal markets overruns of mil-spec ammo under the Federal and American Eagle brands. This ammo is identical to M193 ball made for the US military and is made on the same production lines. Each cartridge fires a 55-grain full metal jacket projectile at 3,240 feet per second. All of the ammo uses new, reloadable brass and Boxer primers.

This ammo comes from Lake City Army Ammunition Plant in Missouri, where Federal produces large quantities of military-grade FMJ ammo for the US government. Federal sells extra production from government orders to the public. Lake City ammo enjoys a reputation for strong performance, power, and availability in quantity.

Federal Premium Ammunition has produced ammo for almost a century. A division of Alliant Techsystems, it operates the federally owned Lake City plant in addition to its own facility in Minnesota.

A: Hello, These 55gr. FMJ rounds by Federal in 5.56 have a lead core and a copper jacket. They are non-magnetic so you can shoot them at a range that does not allow magnetic rounds.
