Details
The American Eagle ammunition brand is made by Federal (Vista Outdoors) here in the USA. The American Eagle 5.56x45 NATO cartridge comes topped with a 55-grain solid lead core XM193 is loaded with a full metal jacket boat tail bullet, with heavy duty, reloadable, non-corrosive Boxer primed brass cases.
XM193 5.56 ammo delivers a muzzle velocity of 3260-feet per second and a hard-hitting muzzle energy of 1294-foot pounds. They come in 500 round cases that are made of five, 100 round value packs. The ideal solution to packing your armory full of ammo, get yours now.
The 5.56x45 NATO or 5.56 NATO cartridge is used by many countries, anti-terrorist units all over the world, and multiple police departments nationwide. Since its development by FN of Belgium, and its introduction to widespread use in 1961, it has been used by almost every firearm company in America for one platform or another and remains popular to this day. The 5.56x45 NATO does indeed differ from the .223 Remington cartridge in the amount of pressure exerted on the round during ignition and in the chamber dimensions of each round. You should never load 5.56x45 NATO ammo into a .223 Remington ONLY firearm, *because the chamber lead distance is different in each caliber. This disparity in distance can cause an excess amount of pressure to be created in the .223 chamber, causing ill effects within the rifle.
