A: Hello Michael, Brown Bear ammunition is loaded with a bi-metal jacketed bullet. This means the bullet jacket is made with layers of copper and steel. As a result, the bullets themselves will attract a magnet.

A: Hello John, These 123gr. FMJ rounds by Brown Bear in 7.62x39 do have a steel case so they will attract a magnet. For ranges that do not allow magnetic rounds, I would suggest a brass cased round.
