Details
This 7.62×39mm cartridge by Silver Bear has a 123 grain projectile with a full metal jacket. That jacket will keep your bore unfouled longer so you can enjoy tight groupings at the range without having to clean your firearm as frequently. We are able to offer you this cartridge for its lower price because of its Berdan primed steel casing, which is much more cost-effective to manufacture than a brass one at the trade-off of being non-reloadable. The casing sports zinc plating, which improves its reliability as well as its feeding in semi-automatic firearms.
The 7.62×39mm round was invented by the Soviets for use in World War II, and remains popular to this day for its usage in AK-47 rifles the world over. Silver Bear ammunition is produced by Barnaul Cartridge Plant JSC, a Russian ammunition manufacturer which opened its doors in 1869 by decree of Emperor Alexander I.

Q: Is there any ferris metal in this bullet?
Posted On: 1/29/2017 By: Joseph Reynolds
A: Hello Joseph,
This ammunition is loaded with a bi-metal jacketed, lead core projectile. Since the bi-metal jacket does contain steel, this will not pass any type of magnet test.
