1000 Rounds of 9mm Ammo by Armscor - 124gr FMJ

Glock 17, 19, 26 and CZ P07 run it fine. I've run 1500 rounds so far. I have a rare failure to lock the slide back but it's maybe once in 150 rounds. (Posted on 2/15/2016)

First of all...let me say that I love Bulkammo.com. I've bought lots of 9mm ammo from this site and have always been happy but in this case I felt compelled to write a review on this particular ammo. The Armscor 9mm 124gr FMJ. In a word...terrible. I've not had a problem with any other 9mm ammo but this stuff was just awful in my G17. With 3 different experienced shooters (no limp wristing here) we had constant stove pipes and FTE's. I don't mean 1 or 2 per box. I mean every other round. In addition to these issues the accuracy of this particular round is also not good. With experienced shooters at 21 feet we were using a laser and good trigger technique and we would get one shot somewhat near the bullseye and the second shot (after the stove pipe) would be 6-8 inches away. I've shot other 124gr rounds that worked fine and I've never found a 115gr round that my G17 didn't like. But for my gun this round simply didn't work. Maybe it works OK in other guns. YRMV. Sadly I bought 1,000 rounds which I will sell or give away. Ugggg. Lastly...I use Armscor .223 in my AR and it works flawlessly... and it's accurate. Maybe I got a bad batch of powder with this case. Do not use in Ruger LC9S Pro. Challenges with just about every issue possible. Worked great in my Ruger SR9. Great performance on Bulk Ammo's part. Would not reorder this ammo again! (Posted on 7/6/2015)
