This 9mm self-defense ammo by Federal Ammunition features a 147 grain hi-shok JHP projectile offering a great subsonic self-defense round. This round is loaded with Federal's Hi-Shok jacketed hollow point projectiles with a very large, pre-skived cavity designed to offer rapid expansion and a large terminal wound cavity upon impact. This round is a contract load manufactured for law enforcement departments. While not as strong of a performer as some of Federal's more modern advancements such as their HST load this is still a good classic that is made available in this bulk offering at a much better price point than HST's for example. As a result, you get a quality self-defense option at a price that you can get more range training in with it enhancing your skills and likelihood to perform under stress.
