Details

This classic 9mm Parabellum load from Remington is an excellent choice for accurate and effective personal protection, especially when coupled with a pistol or pistol-caliber carbine utilizing a suppressor. Remington builds this load around a 147-grain JHP (jacketed hollow point) projectile which is heavy for the caliber and offers great energy retention and momentum transfer at any range; this transfer is further facilitated by the JHP's deep cavity and serrated jacket which produces excellent expansion during penetration into a threat target, affecting a quicker stop in a dire situation. The general principle of the JHP's construction also results in a longer bullet body for increased contact with rifling and improved stability downrange.

Due to the heavy bullet and appropriate powder load, this ammo will produce a smooth cycling impulse that some shooters prefer for competition and self-defense along with a subsonic muzzle velocity that won't ring a supersonic "crack" in the air when run through a silencer. This 9mm Luger bullet is crimped into a brass casing which is reloadable and equipped with a clean-igniting Boxer primer in order to protect your carry pistol from undue corrosion while in storage or in the holster. Remington manufactures ammunition using over two centuries of experience in the firearms industry, lending themselves to proven loads that pair well with the most commonly used blasters.
