Details
This 9x18mm Makarov cartridge by Brown Bear sports a 94 grain projectile, which is a very average weight for its caliber. Thanks to its full metal jacket, this round’s bullet will protect the bore of your MP-448 Skyph or FEG PA-63 from the rapid accumulation of lead residue that would have harmed its accuracy with time, so you can enjoy tight groupings for longer in between cleanings. This round is relatively inexpensive thanks to its Berdan primed steel casing, which is more cost effective to manufacture at the tradeoff of being non-reloadable. Still, a steel cased round will keep your shooting experience authentically Russian.
Brown Bear ammunition is manufactured in Russia’s Barnaul Cartridge Plant, which was originally headquartered in Saint Petersburg in the 19th century until it was relocated to Podolsk during the Russian Civil War -- it was again moved to Barnaul during World War II. Brown Bear takes their name from the somewhat beige color their cartridges’ steel casings take on after they’re lacquered. The lacquer makes them feed and eject more reliably.
